That's right the band has released their latest record on cassette. This fulfills John's life long dream to "have the record available on all 3 formats of our collective youths". No plans as of yet to release the recordon 8-track. "Come on - we're not quite that old!". says John.
Cassette will be avaiable on maplemusic.com

Tune in tonight at 7:00 pm EST on MuchMusic to hear what they have to say and to discuss how their music was selected for the show.
The band just found out that their songs CloudHead and Crash/Land will be featured in this week's episode of The Vampire Diaries which airs this Thursday night on the CW. The episode airs 8pm EST. We'll be watching.
The band proudly accepted awards this past weekend in Sydney NS for Alternative Album of the Year - for 'we are an empire, my dear' - and for Group Of The Year. The night was dominated by Joel Plaskett who took home six ECMAs in total but In-Flight Safety was one of only 5 multiple award winner which made the night that much more sweet.
Because the band did not write any proper speeches they would like to make good on any ommissions during their impromptu speech and thank: FACTOR for all their support and funding, Music NS for the same, Matt Charlton, Jim Cunningham, Pat Deighan, Dave Casey, Laurence Currie, Paul Gourlie, Adam Sylvester, Chris McCluskey, Cara Heath, our families of course, and our lovely partners.
You can now hear Surround in the TV trailer/spot for the new - Nicholas Sparks-novel-turned-screeplay-movie "Dear John". Yes, that is the same writer as the Notebook. The movie will cost you a few bucks but the tears are free.
The band recently found out that their song Model Homes will be featured in this Sunday's season premier of NBC's "Chuck" Season 3. Look for it in the 2nd hour of the show.
